e3 software package provides A very small editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install e3
e3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the e3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep e3 *
You will get with e3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
